- Robert Eggers’ “Nosferatu” Remake, Dracula as the Home Invader, and the Legacy of German Expressionist FilmWhen Robert Eggers’ 2024 remake of the horror classic “Nosferatu” was first announced to be in production, I could hardly contain my excitement. The original 1922 film by F.W. Murnau has always been one of my all-time favourites, and it’s legacy in the world of horror film (and film history in general) is one that… Read more: Robert Eggers’ “Nosferatu” Remake, Dracula as the Home Invader, and the Legacy of German Expressionist Film

Analyzing visual media through a historical lens

About the Author
I’m a life-long lover of video games and movies, but I’ve also been an artist and lover of history ever since I was young. Illustration, digital photography, and art direction and production design for film are all fields of study I’ve engaged with over the years, but most recently I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Dalhousie University’s Costume Studies program with Honours in 2021. When I’m not gaming, sewing, or drawing I’m most likely doing some creative writing, and hanging out my adorable pet Cockatiel, Luna.
